LJHS offers the following activities for students in grades 6-8 to participate in: Baseball, Softball, Cheerleading, Poms, Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball, Volleyball, Wrestling, Girls and Boys Track, Speech, Scholastic Bowl, Student Council, Builders Club, Circuit Rider, Photo Club, Concert Band, Pep Band, Jazz Band and Chorus.

A current sports physical and a signed concussion form must be turned in prior to the date listed in order for a student to begin participation in that activity.

Eligibility for most athletics is also governed by the rules of the Illinois Elementary School Association and, if applicable, these rules will apply in addition to this Athletic Code. In a case of a conflict between IESA and this Athletic Code, the most stringent rule will be enforced.
