Mrs. Poelker and Mrs. Podbelsek's science class just finished studying The Earth's Ecosystems. We studied the 7 land biomes: Temperate Deciduous Forests, Coniferous Forest, Tropical Rain Forests, Temperate Grassland, Savanna, Desert, and Tundra. The students choose partners to make a group of 4 or 5 students and choose which land biome they wanted to make. They were graded on : communication, collaboration, a brief oral report, observation, participation, animals, vegetation, and materials used. They also had to make and include a working aqueduct, which they had read about and studied in their Social Studies Class, into their biome.
